Purpur Spytt

I first met Charlotte while on tour in Europe. Her group, MARAUDEUR and Dry Erase played a house show in a small town in East Germany called, Halle. It was one of the most memorable shows of my 15 years of playing in bands. The energy of their set was beyond captivating and the atmosphere of this strange yet familiar setting was the perfect backdrop to their music. I knew instantly that I had to work with them in some capacity. When Charlotte sent me her solo project’s latest recording I was hooked. Spare arrangments with deceptively intricate bass lines weaved together by Charlotte’s signature sing-speak. It’s post-punk and pop and dare, I say even a little jazz-y at times. Anyway, I’m super excited to be releasing this tape. Hope ya dig it ~
